Lifetime Warranty
All En Gold branded designs that have been purchased directly from www.engold.com have a lifetime structural and hardware manufacturing warranty.
This warranty is a reflection of our belief in enduring craftsmanship. Whilst we are proud to offer this policy, our goal is to educate our customers on proper care and handling, particularly for sensitive material.
Effective Date:
Applies to all En Gold products purchased from January 1, 2025, forward.
Eligibility:
• Valid for the original retail purchaser only.
• Non-transferable and applicable to residential use under normal conditions.
What’s Covered – Lifetime Warranty
• Internal structure: Solid wood frames, timber joinery, brackets, and leg attachments.
• Hardware: Screws, bolts, and fixings that are integral to the product’s structural function.
• Iron or metal elements: Structural welds and frameworks.
What’s Not Covered – Exclusions
Cosmetic & Wear-Related
• Surface scratches, scuffs, or stains caused by use, cleaning agents, or environmental exposure.
• Changes in patina, texture, or finish due to natural aging or usage.
• Discoloration due to sunlight, moisture, or improper storage.
Upholstery & Contents
• Fabrics, cushions, foam fillings, or materials subject to natural wear.
• Pilling, fading, or stretching of fabric.Stone & Marble-Specific Exclusions
• Chips, cracks, or breakage to stone or marble surfaces caused by mishandling, improper installation, movement, or customer damage.
• Natural variations in stone (holes, dips, veining, texture, color, porosity) are not considered defects—these are inherent to the material and celebrated as part of the piece's character.
• Filled, unfilled holes and veins in our stone and marble pieces are a part of the product and are not considered a fault.
• Due to the hand-crafted method in which our pieces are made, characteristics are expected in our pieces and are not considered a fault. Some examples are, but are not limited to: uneven surfaces, slight variation in edging surface, angled silhouettes etc.
• Staining or etching from spills (e.g., wine, citrus, oils, acids), especially when the surface is unsealed or cleaned improperly.
• Fractures or breaks mishandling, overloading, or impact.
Claims Process
• Claims must be submitted with original proof of purchase.
• Defects should be reported as soon as they are identified.
• En Gold will assess and determine whether a repair or replacement will be offered.
• If identical materials or parts are unavailable, we may offer a comparable alternative.
• Replacement parts or products are only covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Warranty Will Be Void If:
• The product is used in non-residential, commercial, or rental settings.
• The product is altered, disassembled, or modified after delivery.
• Damage results from misuse, neglect, impact, dragging, improper assembly, or relocation.
• Products are not cared for in accordance with En Gold’s care guide.
• Unauthorised repairs, alterations, or modifications from an unauthorised third party.
• Any use of toxic cleaning products that are not specifically recommended by En Gold.
• Damaged caused by any household pet, pests, mice, cockroaches, or other insects (this includes Termites).
• Damage caused from fire or natural disaster.
• If the product is used in a non-household setting.
Duration:
The warranty period starts from the confirmed date the item was delivered to the purchaser’s address.
Claims Process:
In the rare event you have a faulty or damaged product, please fill out Warranty Claim Form providing image(s) of the damage, order number and any supporting details.
