Handblown, Pale Aqua
A softly sculpted handblown glass vase in a pale, watery blue, finished with a gently undulating rim and a field of suspended bubbles that catch and bend the light. Thick and weighty in the hand, yet visually light, it feels more like a piece of liquid sculpture than a traditional vessel.
The bubble texture is created using a centuries-old glassmaking technique where air is intentionally trapped inside molten glass as it is shaped, forming a constellation of tiny pockets suspended within the surface. Each vase carries its own subtle variations, a reminder that it was formed by breath, heat and movement rather than by machine.
Equally beautiful holding a single stem or left empty as a sculptural object, this piece brings softness and luminosity to shelves, bedside tables and plinths.
