Handrolled unglazed stoneware knot. Due to the handmade nature of this item, slight variations in size and finish are to be expected.

These knots made from are individually handrolled coils, rather than coils extruded mechanically through a die. Each knot is then tied, cleaned, and stamped, and allowed to dry slowly over several days for bisque firing. After the first firing, they are sanded and cleaned again, and fired a second time.
